Between September 8 and 10, the SUN PLAZA shopping center in Bucharest organizes Beer Fest, the third edition of the Romanian artisan drinks festival (beer, cider and cold brews). The three days of the festival will take place on the North Esplanade of SUN PLAZA, at the entrance from Calea Văcărești.
This year, the festival beer proposes a new recipe, Beerceni LAGER, a low-fermentation craft beer.

This year, Beer Fest comes with a novelty: the beer of the festival, Beerceni LAGER, has a new recipe and is available in limited edition. Beerceni LAGER is a low-fermentation, artisanal, unfiltered, unpasteurized beer, produced by Zăganu.
The beverage producers participating in the event are: Harvester, Mad Lads, Olovina, Oriel, Zăganu, Maktoob, Zburătorul, Delta Beer, Kofi Ti, Carol. Brewers stand out for the varied production styles they tackle. From traditional and delicate flavors to strong and intense, each brewer brings their own distinct stamp to their products. The range of beer available at Beer Fest includes blonde beers, which combine complex aromas taken from the maturation process, to brown beers with additions of cardamom or coriander or even intense copper-red beers.
“Beer Fest is one of the biggest events we organize at SUN PLAZA and the only festival of its kind organized in a shopping center. What can you do at Beer Fest?
Event attendees can purchase and consume beer inside the festival and have the opportunity to purchase craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages such as lemonade, cider or fruity cola from The Beer Institute pop-up shop.
The atmosphere at the festival will be maintained every evening by a DJ, and participants can purchase food from the Uncle John pop-up restaurant.
Access to children is allowed in the space dedicated to them, where they will be able to participate in various workshops, facepainting, games with animators and with Sunny, the mascot of the shopping center.
